About the Advanced Technology Group (ATG)
ATG serves as the research arm of Dolby, dedicated to anticipating future trends, delivering insights, and pioneering technological advancements that will drive our growth. Our researchers possess diverse expertise in areas such as AI/ML, algorithms, digital signal processing, audio engineering, image processing, computer vision, data science, distributed systems, cloud computing, and IoT.
Your Role
We are looking for a skilled Senior Researcher to join our Advanced Technology Research team in Sunnyvale. You will leverage your expertise in generative AI for computer vision tasks and deep learning technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and develop innovative neural network architectures and training methodologies.
- Explore representation and processing algorithms in modern computer vision.
- Document and present your findings through technical white papers and internal presentations.
- Maintain the highest standards of technical and ethical integrity.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing algorithms for generative neural networks and multi-modal tasks.
- Proficiency in Matlab, C/C++, OpenCV, and Python (Tensorflow/Pytorch) as applied to computer vision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in patenting new technologies and applying generative networks and machine learning algorithms to real-world challenges will be advantageous.
