About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Applied Scientist to join our Edge CV team under Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). As an Applied Scientist, you will play a key role in developing novel algorithms and modeling techniques to advance the state of the art in computer vision and multimodal perception.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques for computer vision and multimodal perception
  • Collaborate with talented peers to advance the state of the art in AI and computer vision
  • Work closely with engineers and scientists to put algorithms and models into practice
  • Support the science solution design, run experiments, and research new algorithms
Requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in building models for business applications
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages
  • Experience developing and implementing deep learning algorithms, particularly with respect to computer vision algorithms
Preferred Qualifications
  • Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
  • Experience in Vision Language Models, Audio-Video fusion, and multi-modal LLMs
  • Experience with optimizing computer vision models for on-device deployment (pruning, quantization, distillation, etc.)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with non-technical and technical audiences
