About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator RN to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our trauma services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate performance improvement activities for the Trauma Service, including ongoing reviews and focused studies.
  • Manage data entry into the trauma registry and develop reports based on queries from the database.
  • Assure timely mandated submission of state, national, and organization trauma data.
  • Guide outreach, injury prevention, and educational activities based on trauma center data.
  • Maintain a system for perpetuation of effective data flow.
  • Work closely with the Trauma PI Manager, Trauma Program Director, and Trauma Medical Director.
Requirements
  • Current Virginia license to practice nursing required.
  • BSN or Bachelor's in related field preferred.
  • Trauma (TCRN), Emergency (CEN) or Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare setting, trauma center experience preferred.
