Job Title: Engineering Coordinator

At Great Wolf Lodge, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator to provide essential administrative and communications support to our Engineering Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize technology to communicate property needs and assign preventative maintenance activities using software such as HotSOS and Great Wolf systems.
  • Maintain Unifocus payroll and scheduling, as well as manage ordering, receiving, stocking, and setup of new vendors in systems including Coupa.
  • Research costs and ensure availability of parts, materials, and tools, and oversee budgets and tracking using Capex and OpEx budgeting tools.
  • Perform data entry for Engineering Scorecard and other departmental information, and support outside contractors with scheduling, work assignment, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with all departments regarding work requests affecting guest-related items and maintenance needs, and serve as a safety committee representative and communication lead.
  • Assist with basic maintenance service calls, including troubleshooting television and HVAC issues, changing light bulbs, batteries, and making repairs when possible.
  • Participate in Water Park shut-downs, assisting with cleaning, painting, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience with computers, data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Successful completion of criminal background and drug screen.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.
  • Strong oral communication skills, including conflict resolution in a positive and friendly manner.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in the hotel/resort/theme park industry.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic and positive energy.
  • Ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
  • Able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
