Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineering Intern to join our team. As a Process Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and execute lean manufacturing principles, including process flow, standard work, production parts picking/delivery/presentation, process mapping, time studies, and layouts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Safety, Quality, and Operations teams to create efficient process flows that maximize output.
  • Analyze production through time studies and documentation of existing processes.
  • Identify, select, and implement projects to improve process flow layout.
  • Oversee and manage tasks to improve workplace organization.
  • Establish and maintain standard work for various production lines.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Must have completed Sophomore year coursework.
  • Knowledge of AutoCad, AutoDesk Inventor, or SolidWorks is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel for data interpretation/manipulation is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
