Project Overview: The IT Telecom division at SoftSol, Inc. delivers comprehensive telephone services to a wide range of clients. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing and provisioning telecom services, including but not limited to AVAYA Telephony, MSTeams Telephony, and Five9 contact center solutions. Responsibilities will encompass overseeing the migration and administration of existing telephony systems.
Technical Expertise Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 8 years of experience in the telecommunications sector.
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership role with CCaaS experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in UCaaS environments.
- Proficient in Five9 support, Avaya, and MSTeams Telephony administration and migration.
- 2+ years of experience managing contact center services.
- Strong networking skills.
- Expertise in telecom operations and support.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to generate reports using various reporting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of server patching (Windows and Linux).
- Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous.
- Certifications in Five9, Avaya, and MSTeams are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration from Avaya Telephony to MSTeams Telephony solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on Avaya and MSTeams Telephony implementations and administration.
- Support remote telecom services for a distributed workforce.
- Manage contact center operations and administration.
- Design and implement IVR call flows and routing strategies.
- Collaborate with other telecom engineers to create integrated solutions.
- Define and enhance the architecture of telecom services.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies based on industry trends.
- Develop innovative solutions and technical design documents.
- Estimate project timelines and deliverables.
- Cross-train telecom staff on new product features.
- Continuously seek improvements in processes to enhance project profitability.
- Assist in the implementation of telecom migrations.
- Conduct unit tests for product components.
- Establish architectural standards and best practices.
- Encourage innovative processes and development methodologies.
- Collaborate with management to assess the feasibility of product features.
- Work closely with IT teams to determine optimal technical approaches.
- Establish standards for project and change reviews, providing constructive feedback.
