Position Overview:

The Correctional Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping and managing employee retention initiatives within the Indiana Department of Correction. This position operates under the guidance of the Retention Specialist Supervisor, focusing on the development, implementation, and oversight of various programs aimed at enhancing workforce stability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough research and gather pertinent information regarding program policies, procedures, and requirements.
2. Address inquiries from stakeholders regarding program guidelines and operational processes.
3. Organize and maintain comprehensive records, both current and historical, related to the retention programs.
4. Assist in the preparation of detailed reports, budget allocations, and procurement of necessary services.
5. Monitor and manage program resources effectively.
6. Collaborate with supervisors to strategize and plan the overall direction of the retention initiatives.
7. Develop and distribute training materials relevant to program operations.
