Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize Health & Safety as the foremost objective by adhering to established policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
Take charge of the organization’s systems and network infrastructure projects, ensuring deliverables are stable, accessible, and dependable to meet business goals.
Lead and guide project teams to achieve defined project goals.
Identify and negotiate timelines, milestones, and resources necessary to fulfill project objectives and success criteria.
Engage with employees at all levels to visualize and comprehend IT-related challenges, providing effective solutions.
Propose innovative technologies and systems that will enhance organizational performance across various sectors.
Regularly collaborate with IT personnel, consultants, programmers, and other stakeholders as needed.
Offer coaching, mentoring, and support to project team members and others in Project Management roles.
Coordinate with client departments and stakeholders to facilitate systems testing, installation, training, and support.
Stay informed about advancements in technology and Project Management practices.
Provide comprehensive reports and updates to the Director of Strategic Technology regarding all facets of assigned projects, associated tasks, and related recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
Experience:
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT technical support is required, along with five years of project management experience. PMP certification is advantageous. Experience with VOIP deployment is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
In-depth technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Proven creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficient in managing projects and process improvement initiatives. Experience in independently identifying and resolving issues. Demonstrates accountability and sound judgment. Maintains a high level of confidentiality. Ability to align with diverse clients and represent a unified perspective across multiple stakeholders. Willingness to take initiative in unfamiliar or ambiguous situations. Strong self-awareness and a desire to develop leadership skills. Capacity to hold oneself and others accountable to high standards.
