AACSB International is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Manager to lead the strategy and execution of global communications and media outreach. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing AACSB's market visibility and reputation globally and regionally.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Global Communications Plans: Create and implement integrated public relations plans to support AACSB's advocacy and awareness initiatives.
- Public Relations Campaigns: Develop brand awareness campaigns through press announcements, media events, and social media engagement.
- Media Relations: Serve as the primary media relations contact and spokesperson advisor, developing key messaging and providing background details and data insights.
- Spokesperson Preparation: Collaborate with internal colleagues to secure data and relevant information to develop talking points for AACSB-approved spokespersons.
- Advocacy Partner Support: Support the development of strategic advocacy partnerships and content-sharing agreements with key industry organizations and influencers.
- Media Monitoring and Tracking: Monitor public opinion through media scans, social listening, and market research of emerging trends and topics in business education globally and regionally.
- Crisis Communications: Collaborate with the Leadership Team on the planning and response to issues or crises as necessary to maintain, protect, and enhance AACSB's brand reputation.
- Agency Management: Effectively motivate and oversee external agencies or other individual/specialized consultants to achieve communications goals and maximize investment.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage budgets related to global public relations activities.
- Fluency in English
- Five plus (5+) years in a role focused on communications, media relations, and public relations
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field
- Ability to travel up to 30% annually, including international travel
- Exceptional design thinking skills, strong project management capabilities, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
