Sales Operations Director for Retail Innovation

We are seeking a visionary Sales Operations Director to spearhead our retail innovation initiatives. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the retail industry by leveraging cutting-edge technology solutions.

As a Sales Operations Director, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in retail operations and sales management roles. Your primary focus will be on driving customer retention and revenue growth through effective customer relationship management, customer success strategy, and proactive support and engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique challenges and ensuring our solutions address their needs effectively.
  • Customer Success Strategy: Create and implement customer success frameworks that drive user adoption, satisfaction, and long-term retention. Design comprehensive onboarding programs to empower customers to leverage our platform to its fullest potential.
  • Customer Feedback Integration: Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback and insights to inform product development and improvements.
  • Revenue & Retention Focus: Develop and execute strategies to drive customer retention and revenue growth, measuring success through customer lifetime value (CLTV), net retention rate (NRR), and other key metrics.
  • Expansion & Upsell Opportunities: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our footprint within existing accounts, working closely with sales and product teams to offer additional value and drive upsell opportunities.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in customer success, business operations, or a similar role in an early-stage startup.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships, with a focus on driving retention and revenue growth.
  • Experience in business operations with a track record of building systems and processes in high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with the challenges faced by retail operations and sales management professionals, with the ability to empathize and deliver solutions that address their needs.
  • Ability to use and integrate business tools like Zapier and Notion to enhance customer success operations.
