Overview:

The Manager of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) will be responsible for developing analyses, tools, and reports that utilize pricing strategies, promotional activities, and price pack architecture (PPA) execution to enhance revenue and profitability for our Meals and Beverages portfolio.

Scope and Complexity:

This role involves collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance teams to provide insights and recommendations on pack architecture, pricing, and promotional strategies for both current and future product lines, drawing on industry best practices and consumer trends.

The individual will assess the existing pricing framework and trade strategies, proposing necessary adjustments to optimize margins and enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 50% Lead modeling initiatives to evaluate the impact of proposed pricing and promotional adjustments at both national and account levels.
  • 25% Assist in the development of a multi-year pricing strategy for core brands aimed at driving top-line growth and net price realization.
  • Provide strategic recommendations that encompass optimal price gaps relative to competitors, target pricing points, enhanced promoted price groups (PPGs), new sizes or pricing tiers, innovative price pack architecture, and identification of strategic pack roles.
  • 15% Manage monthly pricing and promotion tracking to foster pricing awareness and facilitate discussions and action plans with senior leadership and customer teams.
  • 10% Collaborate with sales strategy and cross-functional partners, including key customer teams, to devise and implement effective pricing and promotional strategies at the account level.
  • 10% Offer strategic guidance to cross-functional partners on various pricing-related projects, including pricing for innovations and channel-specific packs.
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience:
  • A strong commercial focus with a proven record of success in Revenue Growth Management.
  • 8+ years of experience in a complex environment within brand marketing, finance, or sales roles in a leading consumer packaged goods (CPG) organization or similarly reputable companies.
  • 2-4 years of demonstrated success in Revenue Growth Management or Financial Sales.
  • Experience in developing frameworks that integrate consumer and shopper insights with market assessments to identify pricing, promotional, and PPA opportunities.
  • A leader with a robust analytical and operational skill set, with a history of designing pricing strategies that meet financial targets.
  • Prior experience in revenue management, ideally with a background in marketing and/or sales.
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives from strategy to execution.
  • Strong business acumen, capable of formulating pricing strategies that enhance brand value and achieve company growth objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging consumer research and competitive intelligence to drive growth and profitability.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills, with the ability to utilize data from diverse sources to inform decisions.
  • Capability to navigate complex business challenges and multi-functional strategies effectively.
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams while managing various enterprise priorities.
Additional Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Strong Systems Data Management skills.
  • Experience in data analysis and summarizing findings.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly in conveying findings to Sales.
  • Management and Team Leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with Tableau and SAP is advantageous.
  • Understanding of basic statistical analysis and its applications is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $85,900 and $140,800. Individual base pay will depend on various factors, including work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total compensation may include additional forms of remuneration. We offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits from the first day of employment.
