Job Title: Manager of Ticket Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Manager of Ticket Sales. This role will be responsible for managing the sales department and actively selling Delaware Blue Coats products, including ticket and sponsorship sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop sales staff to generate new revenue opportunities
  • Support the growth of new sales revenue through full season, partial plan, group sales, and membership services
  • Analyze and identify potential national and local sponsors of the Delaware Blue Coats
  • Lead and motivate sales staff to achieve sales revenue and training goals
  • Monitor and manage sales staff performance on an ongoing basis
  • Responsible for initial on-sale events for new membership sales and group sales
  • Coordinate executive plans with the box office and sales activations teams
  • Develop department business plans, training strategies, and sales scripts
  • Work with other managers to develop strategic call campaigns and new sales packages
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of sales experience
  • Proven record of consistently achieving sales goals and targets
  • Sales and/or event planning experience
  • Previous management experience, particularly overseeing 2-3 direct reports
  • Proficiency in basic software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in Ticketmaster, DSA, or similar ticketing software a plus
