Job Overview

ServiceNow is seeking a highly skilled Advisory Solution Consultant to join our Federal Solution Consulting team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales of our products and services to federal customers.

This is a hands-on technical consultant position that requires advanced technical expertise in solution delivery and solution positioning during sales cycles. You will work closely with sales teams, product management, and executive teams to develop and position product-specific solutions that meet the needs of our federal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team
  • Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and provide product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
  • Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues
  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value
  • Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in a product-specific area
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with Sales counterpart to guide execution excellence
  • Travel, as necessary

Compensation and Benefits:

For positions in the District of Columbia, we offer a base pay of $140,400 - $231,600, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
