Vail Resorts is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Burton Beaver Creek. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates, managing daily sales and operations, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading a team of 6-10 sales associates
  • Manage daily sales, rentals, and operational functions to achieve maximum profitability and efficiency
  • Process store sales accurately and efficiently using a cash register
  • Generate sales by establishing professional relationships with customers and delivering outstanding guest service
  • Maintain high retail, merchandising, and cleanliness standards
  • Assist in recruiting and maintaining a quality core staff
  • Lead inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
  • Enforce company cash handling and Loss Prevention policies
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of retail experience, preferably in snow sports retail
  • 1 year of management experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
