Are you a retail enthusiast with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? Do you have a knack for managing teams and driving sales growth? We're seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Burton Beaver Creek, a premier ski resort in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading a team of 6-10 employees, ensuring seamless daily operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, inventory control, and staff training.
  • Maintain high retail standards, including visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, manage budgets, and control inventory.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to changing business needs.
