Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Associate Technical Designer to join our team on-site at our Midtown Manhattan office. The successful candidate will work with multiple product categories, including Athleisure, Fashion Sportswear, Sweaters, Sleep & Intimates, Swim, and Activewear, for Juniors, Missy, Plus, and Men's Knits and Wovens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately measure Fit/PP/TOP samples and attend fit sessions to take detailed notes.
  • Identify and call out any fit/construction/workmanship issues to be addressed and communicate all corrections and revisions to the factory.
  • Create initial tech packs for costing and fit sample submits, ensuring all corrections have been made at the pre-production sample stage to secure the fit/quality for production.
  • Work with private label accounts to achieve desired fit and knowledge of grading to issue graded specs.
  • Ability to adhere to calendar to ensure deadlines are met and track and manage sample status.
  • Assist with keeping sample library organized and build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Technical Design or Fashion Design.
  • 4+ years of experience in apparel, with knowledge of sewing construction, patternmaking, garment manufacturing, and fabrics.
  • Proficient in PLM and Excel, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail, sense of urgency, willingness to learn, and team-player.
