About the Role

Western & Southern Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with insurance and federal regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Regular Compliance Reviews: Monitor and oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, identifying and remediating potential risks.
  • Perform Compliance Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of compliance and regulatory risk, providing practical recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and remediate areas of non-compliance.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Regulatory Changes: Research and analyze insurance regulations and laws, updating procedures and processes as necessary.
  • Communicate Compliance Requirements: Assist in communicating compliance requirements, regulatory changes, and regulatory actions to impacted business units and support staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 4-6 Years of Related Experience
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of the Life Insurance Industry
  • Proven Experience Conducting Compliance Assessments
  • LOMA - Associate, Insurance Regulatory and Compliance (AIRC) Designation
