Account Manager Job Description

Gable Search Group is seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our OEM and aftermarket customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor customer orders and communicate lead-times, part availability, and scheduled ship dates.
  • Act as an escalation point for accounts receivables and seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead customer RFP responses and facilitate the proposal process to close business.
  • Provide leadership and act as liaison between our company and customer accounts.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts and establish a role as the primary contact for customers.
  • Effectively communicate and manage the process of aligning daily efforts with our annual strategic plan.
  • Manage administrative functions for each OEM and work collaboratively with Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.
  • Participate in and influence the new model development process and stay informed about the competitive landscape to protect revenue.
  • Analyze customer forecasts compared to orders and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience (1-3 years) in sales, purchasing, account management, or similar.
