About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our facilities team at CommonSpirit Health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hospital facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The salary for this position is approximately $40,000 - $48,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing daily cleaning services to assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, and public spaces
  • Operating manual, battery-powered, and electric equipment safely and effectively
  • Unloading, stocking, and delivering linen supplies as needed
  • Removing soiled linens and disposing of trash and recyclables properly
  • Participating in infection control and safety initiatives to maintain a clean and healthy environment
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles (preferably in a healthcare setting)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
