Job Summary

Globe Machine Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Facility Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure our facilities remain in top working order.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain company vehicles by performing oil changes, tune-ups, and engine maintenance.
  • Repair and perform preventative maintenance on grinders, electrical wire changers, hand tools, and other small equipment.
  • Assist with maintenance on machines within the Machine Shop.
  • Perform general grounds and landscape maintenance.
  • Maintain and repair interior and exterior building finishes, including painting, caulking, and waterproofing.
  • Ensure facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years of general maintenance experience in a large machinery/equipment-manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and small power tools and familiarity with machinery.
  • Proven success maintaining commercial vehicles.
  • Valid state driver's license in good standing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, tactfulness, and self-direction when faced with tight deadlines and fluid environments.
  • Excellent attendance record and a proven history of reliability.
  • Conduct oneself with the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
