Job Title: On-site Payroll Manager/Director with Workday Implementation Experience
Location: On-site, 5 days a week
Duration: 3-4 weeks, up to 40 hours per week
Job Description:
We are seeking a Payroll Manager/Director with extensive Workday implementation experience for a short-term project focused on parallel testing and system validation. The ideal candidate will lead the payroll testing process, ensuring a successful transition to Workday while maintaining accurate payroll operations. This position requires deep knowledge of payroll processes, particularly in the context of large-scale system implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workday Parallel Testing: Lead the parallel testing of payroll processes within the Workday system, ensuring alignment with existing payroll workflows.
- Test Plan Creation & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to evaluate payroll functionalities in Workday. Ensure all test cases accurately reflect real-world scenarios.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team during the testing process, providing guidance and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Data Validation: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data through detailed validation and comparison between legacy systems and Workday.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during testing, collaborating closely with HR, IT, and relevant stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, procedures, results, and any necessary system modifications.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in payroll management, with a strong background in Workday implementation.
- Proven expertise in developing and managing test plans for payroll system implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of parallel testing, regression testing, and data validation techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or supervising teams during system implementations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
