Job Title: Project Manager

STAND 8 Technology Services is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including planning, executing, and closing projects within the broadcasting industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed work plans, determine necessary resources, define project scope in collaboration with senior management and external partners, and develop a schedule that effectively allocates resources to activities.
  • Contract qualified consultants/vendors, establish clear task ownership, ensure team members have needed tools, and provide timely feedback.
  • Execute the project according to the plan, track progress, review tasks to ensure deadlines are met, and make necessary adjustments for successful completion.
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on the project progress.
  • Regularly review the quality of work completed with the project team to ensure it meets project standards and ensure that punch lists and turnovers are completed to stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Monitor the progress of all assigned projects, ensure the safety plan is in place prior to starting work, and conduct audits of inventory in all IDF rooms within the project scope.
  • Monitor budget flow projections, report actual budget and variance to senior management regularly, and ensure all financial records for the project are up to date.
  • Plan and execute physical moves and refresh efforts, decommission end-of-life infrastructure, migrate network core services and production engineering services, and remove technical cabling from hallway ceilings.
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of project management/maintenance planning experience with a general contractor or project management firm, and 5 years of team leadership experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and contractors at once, including Tenant Improvement, Ground up, and Technology projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with short notice, and experience working with data center migrations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in local/regional codes and ordinances, reading/interpreting construction documents and contracts, and Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, SmartSheets, and ServiceNow.
  • Project Management certification is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
