Job Title: Patient Access Manager

As a Patient Access Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business office, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role plays a critical part in managing the registration process for emergency and outpatient departments.

You will be responsible for managing team schedules, office coverage, time off requests, and reporting. Additionally, you will identify workflow issues and provide solutions to improve the overall performance of the team.

To succeed in this role, you will have leadership experience in a fast-paced healthcare or customer-focused environment. You should have a proven track record of mentoring and coaching teams, holding members accountable for client deliverables. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and proficiency in various software systems are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement departmental initiatives
  • Develop and coach team members in skills and processes to promote quality
  • Measure and monitor KPI metrics related to AR performance, with a focus on aging categories
  • Prepare, analyze, and provide daily, weekly, and monthly metrics reports on key AR metrics
  • Fulfill production gaps as needed
