Job Summary:

Valet Living is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Waste Management Specialist to join our team. As an Apartment Service Associate, you will be responsible for collecting trash from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the onsite compactor. This is a flexible evening hours opportunity that offers a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect trash bags from residents' doorsteps and transport them to the onsite compactor.
  • Take required photos using our company's mobile app during service.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position that requires working 5 nights a week from Sunday to Thursday. Shifts are typically 2-4 hours long, starting at 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm. Some positions may have earlier start/end times, and Sundays may require additional hours.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • Capable of adapting to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of changing weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to walk the distance of the property and be exposed to disagreeable odors.
  • Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening.
  • Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle.
