Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative at Family Dollar, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch service to our valued customers. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every customer leaves the store satisfied and eager to return.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized service to customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in selecting merchandise, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Process cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and returns with a smile.
  • Stay up-to-date on store inventory, promotions, and sales, using this knowledge to make informed recommendations to customers.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move freely throughout the store.
