Job Summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking a skilled CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our waste collection team, you will be responsible for safely operating a rear load truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal sites.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a rear load truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Interact with customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of collection activities.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
  • DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and may involve exposure to hazardous materials. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
