Job Summary

Rumpke Transportation Company, LLC is seeking a skilled CDL Front Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to commercial customers on assigned routes by emptying trash/recycling containers into trucks and hauling them to a disposal site.
  • Maintain accurate route sheets and complete logs.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to read and understand maps and navigate through residential and commercial areas.
  • Excellent physical stamina to perform prolonged physical exertions, including sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
