Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team of subcontractors. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering trash or recycling containers as needed and replacing them neatly at the curb or designated area.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete logs, and maintain accurate records of routes and driver activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling containers, as well as cleaning up waste spills and overflows.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • At least 19 years of age and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • No DUIs or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas. You will also be working with residential and commercial waste, and may be required to travel between offices as needed.
