Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our financial counseling team, you will provide exceptional support to our clients and wealth management team, ensuring seamless execution of client relationships and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients and the wealth management team with account applications, asset-transfer forms, and client-specific requests, communicating proactively with custodians to ensure timely follow-through.
- Support compliance and wealth management teams with internal and external requirements for new accounts and assets, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Prepare and update financial schedules, analyses, client presentations, and meeting agendas, showcasing your analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Draft and process correspondence to clients, communicating effectively via telephone and email, and assisting with income tax return preparation, scanning data, and sending copies to clients.
- Interact with spreadsheet-driven reports for the wealth management team and clients, maintaining electronic and physical records, and updating client information in our databases.
- Prepare quarterly reports, assist with billing, and reconcile daily cash and position statements for clients' accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone calls, managing mail and supplies, and ordering office essentials.
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of administrative experience in financial services or an Associate's degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with brokerage or registered investment advisory firm operations.
- Strong mathematical aptitude, superb written and verbal communication skills, and moderate understanding of investment products and operations.
- Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and demands, and experience with Tamarac.
$65-75k per annum, with opportunities for growth and professional development within our dynamic organization.
