About the Role

Akehurst Landscape Service, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee field operations and supervise a Field Supervisor to deliver quality and profitability.
  • Facilitate and resolve client concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and project renewal.
  • Develop accurate estimates for new and existing clients while maintaining acceptable gross margins.
  • Generate referrals from existing clients and pass them on to the Business Developer.
Requirements
  • 1 year minimum of supervisory experience in the landscape or service industry.
  • A minimum of 3 years of customer service, management, and leadership experience within an organization.
  • An Associates degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • College degree is a plus.
  • 3 years of strong customer service, sales, and communication experience, or combined comparable experience.
  • Sales skills, including the ability to earn and ask for referrals and opportunities, estimate and format proposals, present, follow-up, and close sales.
  • Time management and personal accountability.
  • Strong success drive and career advancement objectives.
