**Role Overview**

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Principal Environmental Permitting Project Manager to join our Energy Transition team in the Texas/Gulf Coast region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our business across various sectors, including linear utilities, oil and gas, rail, and renewable energies.

**Key Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will be engaged in both client development and project delivery. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and growing new and existing client relationships
  • Leading project teams in developing permitting strategies and coordinating with clients to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Providing senior-level quality assurance/quality control for client deliverables, including agency consultations and permit applications
  • Supporting and/or managing the growth of new and existing client relationships in conjunction with business development leaders and account leaders

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, the candidate will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or a similar environmental discipline
  • 10+ years of experience managing environmental permitting projects in Texas and the Gulf Region in the environmental consulting industry
  • Experience leading teams and working in collaboration with biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, and other specialists in developing high-quality documents for environmental projects
  • Proven project management skills, with experience estimating and managing costs and delivery of environmental planning projects
  • Experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and state agencies in the preparation of environmental documents and reports
