Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Controls Engineer to join our team at Revere Plastics Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating electrical control systems for automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical control systems for automated equipment
  • Analyze existing systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
  • Lead data integrity methodologies for automated systems
  • Standardize and maintain current engineering processes, procedures, and practices
  • Collaborate with advanced engineering and sales engineers to ensure proper quoting of customer and RPS equipment/automation
  • Perform special assignments as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related field preferred, or 7 years' experience in a related field, or a combination of both
  • Strong knowledge of PLC's and programming methods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to travel 50%-60% of the time
