As part of Oracle Health & AI, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge products and strategies aimed at modernizing healthcare systems.

This new initiative is designed to foster a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, encouraging creativity and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product leaders to translate business needs into actionable AI projects.
- Work alongside technical experts to ensure timely delivery of AI models and integration of services.
- Coordinate with global teams to advance projects from research proof of concept to full-scale production.
- Innovate new healthcare services and features utilizing the latest advancements in generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Design and evaluate AI solution architectures, focusing on data, model training, and best practices.
- Mentor junior and senior scientists, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Develop production-ready code while promoting superior coding and engineering standards.
- Engage in project planning and retrospectives to enhance team performance.
- Identify potential risks in project execution, particularly at the intersection of business and technology.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in designing scalable AI models for production environments.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning and deep learning architectures, including Transformers and training methodologies.
- Practical experience with the latest in LLM and generative AI technologies, such as parameter-efficient fine-tuning and advanced prompt engineering techniques.
- Hands-on experience with emerging frameworks and tools related to LLMs, such as LangChain and MLFlow.
- Demonstrated ability to create data collection and evaluation solutions necessary for maintaining production systems.
- Commitment to continuous learning and applying academic advancements to real-world business challenges.
- Strong publication record in reputable journals or conferences, including experience as a lead author or reviewer.
- Experience in leading teams of scientists at various career stages.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the healthcare sector and experience in delivering AI solutions for healthcare applications is advantageous.
- Familiarity with recent developments in computer vision and multimodal modeling is a plus.

Education:
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Linguistics, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning and Deep Learning, along with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred; OR
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
