Position Summary:
We are in search of a distinguished Senior Applied Scientist specializing in AIOps. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving technological advancements and fostering a culture of innovation within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Applied Scientist, you will:
  • Lead research initiatives focused on observability and AI/ML applications.
  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to remain at the forefront of industry advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and data scientists, to identify and secure relevant datasets.
  • Oversee the preprocessing of data to ensure its quality and relevance for training and testing machine learning models.
  • Disseminate research findings through publications, presentations, and conferences, effectively communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Mentor junior researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.
  • Partner with product and ML leaders to enhance existing products and introduce new solutions, thereby improving organizational decision-making.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure, data science, or observability.
  • At least 5 years of experience applying AI/ML in AIOps or observability contexts.
  • A proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale AI/ML solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of analytics, technology, architecture, automation, and governance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A PhD or Master's degree in AI/ML, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
