Job Summary

This is a senior leadership role within the Claim organization at 020 Travelers Indemnity Co, responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced analytics and AI solutions to support Workers Compensation claim handling processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the development and implementation of AI and machine learning models to support Workers Compensation claim handling processes.
  • Lead a team of data scientists and analysts to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics and AI solutions to improve claim handling efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and technology partners, to ensure seamless integration of analytics and AI solutions into the claim handling process.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities, and to communicate the value and impact of analytics and AI solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in the claim handling process.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a STEM field, such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
  • 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field, with 6+ years of experience in leadership or management.
  • Industry expertise in modeling, research, and analytics, with a strong understanding of business model concepts and value creation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Subject matter expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling, with experience in developing and deploying AI and machine learning models in a production environment.
