Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Insurance Business Development Manager to join our team at Truist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships and initiating new sales in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors and clients to identify sales opportunities and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver marketing programs and sales initiatives
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance on life insurance products and estate planning strategies to financial advisors and clients
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the underwriting process and life insurance industry trends
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
  • Three years of direct life insurance selling experience in the field directly with clients and/or five years of handling inside sales helping agents sell life insurance through a General Agency or insurance carrier platform
  • Proven experience and ability to explain estate planning, insurance planning, and deferred compensation concepts to financial advisors
  • Ability to develop a complete understanding of the underwriting process and life insurance industry trends
  • FINRA registrations (e.g., Series 6 and 63) and Life, Health & Accident active license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced designations, such as JD, CFP, CLU, and other industry credentials
