Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that sales objectives are met, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Operations
    • Oversee the daily operation of the store and ensure that sales objectives are met.
    • Evaluate daily operations on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
    • Foster a productive work environment through consistent coaching and training of sales associates.
    • Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
    • Partner with the store manager to identify ongoing challenges and present solutions.
  • Customer Service
    • Follow our customer engagement model to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Assist customers with requests and inquiries.
    • Ensure the sales floor is clean and organized while maintaining store visual standards.
    • Operate the POS/register to properly cash out customers.
  • Sales and Merchandising
    • Follow through on customer requests for specific items and suggest additional products.
    • Use selling skills to explain benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.
  • Store Operations
    • Maintain store cash handling records, reports, and opening and closing procedures.
    • Ensure visual standards are appropriate and support the brand image.
    • Merchandise displays to visual guidelines.
    • Plan, coordinate, and set up special events and promotions.
    • Maintain communication with associates regarding product recommendations to increase sales/inventory.
    • Understand all Loss Prevention policies and procedures and communicate LP issues with the Store Manager.
    • Operational Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sales floor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, and mopping.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Years of Experience: 2 years of retail experience and at least 1 year of supervisor experience.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able and willing to work 32-40 hours a week.
  • Must be able to use a POS/cash register.
  • Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs. Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Must be able to work alone or with minimum supervision.
