About the Role

Fabletics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager and collaborating with a peer Supervisor to drive sales and operations in a best-in-class retail store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embody Our Culture and Values: Act as a model for all team members, embodying our company culture and values through self-accountability and leadership.
  • Support Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager and peer Supervisor in training store associates, preparing them to engage customers in new and meaningful ways.
  • Drive Customer Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to drive customer engagement inside and outside the store environment, including store events, promotions, and community projects.
  • Manage Daily Store Activities: Ensure daily store activities align with company and store goals, communicating inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain Store Merchandising: Ensure store merchandising guidelines are followed, making the store easy to shop and adding value to the customer's purchase journey.
  • Provide Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in providing and nourishing feedback from all levels of the organization to continuously improve the business.
  • Meet Performance Objectives: Strive for excellence, meeting and exceeding store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Product Knowledge and Sales: Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers and team members, maintaining personal sales and achieving sales goals.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain all safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues.
  • Inventory Management: Unpack boxes for inventory as required, handling boxes that can weigh up to 30 pounds.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year minimum of work experience within a retail environment, with prior retail management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and Familiarity: Knowledge and familiarity of active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, nutrition, and other healthy activities.
  • Social Interaction: Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners inside and outside the store environment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work with large teams.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with Ambiguity: High degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including the ability to take initiative when opportunities arise.
  • Retail Inventory and POS Systems: Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
  • Self-Motivation and Communication: Self-motivated, a good communicator with an innate ability to bring out the best in others.
  • Multi-Tasking and Prioritization: Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility in work hours, open to working evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
  • Physical Demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours, with occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
