Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician

JSB Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid background in industrial mechanics to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on various industrial machines.
  • Execute building maintenance as required.
  • Regularly clean and lubricate machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect plant equipment and moving components on a regular basis.
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment parts as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in welding, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
  • Manage maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment.
  • Interpret and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Possess working knowledge of three-phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, and computer interfaces.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480 volts.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support roles.
  • Understand OSHA Safety Requirements, particularly those related to electrical and mechanical systems.

Qualifications:

Candidates should ideally possess experience in the following areas:

  • Reading electrical schematics.
  • Troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Relay logic systems.
  • Three-phase electrical systems.
  • Single-phase and three-phase motor troubleshooting.
  • Utilizing technical manuals effectively.
  • Troubleshooting with a voltage meter.
  • General machining skills.
  • MIG and TIG welding.
  • Remote I/O communication.
  • Completing work orders and preventative maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a full-time industrial maintenance role is preferred.
  • A stable work history with a record of good attendance.
