Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facility systems and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Lead and direct a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and goals.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget to ensure that costs are controlled and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in maintenance and repair, and implement new technologies and techniques as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision or management, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance technicians.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize maintenance activities and reduce costs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve complex maintenance issues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
