Position Overview:

The Korean Bilingual Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the procurement process to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality goods and services. This position involves creating and managing purchase orders, establishing strong relationships with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and distribute purchase orders to vendors that align with client specifications.
  • Oversee and maintain purchase orders to fulfill demand efficiently and accurately.
  • Develop and nurture effective communication with customers and suppliers regarding delivery schedules, pricing, RFQ updates, and order confirmations.
  • Analyze quotes, establish contract pricing, monitor order status, verify deliveries, and authorize payments.
  • Collaborate with vendors, clients, team members, and management to ensure alignment of objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through email and phone interactions.
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise procurement records.
  • Assess and negotiate vendor contracts to secure favorable terms.
  • Evaluate market trends to ensure competitive pricing of goods.
  • Engage in Supply Chain Management activities.
  • Assist the Finance department and other relevant teams in reconciling discrepancies between purchases and invoices.
  • Organize and prioritize procurement schedules to ensure timely execution.
  • Conduct market analysis for products and propose alternative solutions that offer cost savings and improved lead times.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as required.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities for expansion.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is preferred.
  • Demonstrated passion and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and utilize time efficiently.
