Job SummaryA Nuclear Medicine Staff Technologist will be responsible for the following:
- Acquisition and processing of all Nuclear Medicine exams, including general NM scans and Nuclear Cardiology studies.
- Quality control of all Nuclear Medicine equipment.
- Safe handling of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
- Weekday, weekend, and holiday call for after-hour emergencies.
- Compliance with NRC and NJDEP regulations regarding radiation safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completion of clinical training through an NM training program or college requirements.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved program in Nuclear Medicine.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ARRT or CNMT license.
- Current NJ-NUCMED license.
Basic Life Support certification and availability for Monday to Friday shifts with on-call responsibilities.
