Job Summary

This role involves managing wound care patients within an outpatient clinic, providing excellent nursing care and assessing patients with wounds and injuries.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients with wounds and injuries to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide wound care procedures, including debridement, dressing changes, and wound cleansing.
  • Cultures and assess wounds and injuries to identify potential infections or underlying causes.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them on wound care processes and issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree required.
  • Texas RN license or compact state license eligibility required.
