Job Title: Sales Account Executive

UCX, a leading flooring distributor, is seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial, and strategic thinking individual to join our team as a Sales Account Executive. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of business-to-business (B2B) accounts, developing business relationships with new and existing customers, and driving sales growth in the Fort Wayne, IN to Toledo, OH territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships, including the sale of floor covering products, merchandising systems, and programs.
  • Develop new accounts and lines of business to achieve sales targets and territory budgets.
  • Manage critical customer relationships with business owners and key decision makers.
  • Communicate and manage UCX pricing strategy and product lines.
  • Develop and manage credit relationships with portfolio of clients.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with key UCX team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience or B2B sales experience with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Preferred experience in the flooring industry, construction, or related fields.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Superior customer service and relationship skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations within designated sales territory.
