Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RF Systems Engineer to join our global electrical engineering team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest product quality standards and driving continuous improvement for our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and validate RF hardware and systems, including high-level architecture, platform/component selection, schematic design, and test flow planning.
  • Lead RF design and validation activities, including issue debug, performance tuning, and second source qualification.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to complete RF design and validation.
  • Provide test plans and criteria for design stages (EVT/DVT/PVT/MP).
  • Support production line activities, including on-site assistance as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in RF Systems related to 3G/4G technologies, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth products.
  • Experience with DFM and high-volume manufacturing support.
  • Excellent understanding of RF technology, including WiFi and BT (WiFi, BT, GNSS, LTE, and LoRa).
  • Excellent understanding of Baseband circuitry and power management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with RF matching circuitry tuning and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with RF testing using equipment such as NA, Spectrum, IQxel, and CMW500.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Experience with production line activities.
  • Experience with Antenna and wireless product design in IP CAM, mobile WiFi, AP router, Car cam, and handheld device.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
  • Experience with project management of technical projects.
  • Familiarity with RF issues and debugging, including compliance, de-sense, coexistence, EMI, and cross interference.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (OrCAD, Allegro).
