**Role Summary**

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Catering Assistant at our facility. This role is essential in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and safe meals tailored to their needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Preparation of pre-ordered frozen meals for service.
  • Conducting food safety and hygiene checks.
  • Performing temperature assessments to ensure food safety.
  • Ensuring compliance with allergy requirements.
  • Adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences of guests.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and keeping accurate cleaning records.

**Qualifications and Skills**

The ideal candidate will embody our values and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude. Key qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality setting such as a hotel, restaurant, café, or pub is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in the care sector and understanding of special dietary needs is advantageous.
  • Infection control and COSHH training is desirable.
  • A Level 2 food hygiene certificate is preferred.
  • A genuine caring disposition and a helpful approach.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in a catering environment.
  • Reliability and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

**Compensation and Benefits**

**Salary:** £10.64 per hour
