Position Summary:
As a pivotal leader within our organization, you will guide the branch team to foster an outstanding experience for both customers and colleagues. Your role will be instrumental in driving growth and effectively representing First Federal Bank within the community. You will be responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing your team to realize their full potential while achieving business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspire the team and exemplify the delivery of exceptional customer service, focusing on building strong relationships and engaging customers to understand their financial needs.
- Oversee a portfolio of high-value consumer and business clients, facilitating referrals to other departments to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen internal collaborations.
- Lead sales initiatives to stimulate growth through accountability, recognition, and support for colleagues in reaching their professional goals.
- Actively participate in community engagement, cultivating essential business and community connections.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, services, technology, and policies, ensuring your team is well-informed.
- Manage branch operations, ensuring compliance with all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Exhibit expertise in banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, sales leadership, customer service, and colleague development.
- Oversee recruitment efforts to attract and nurture talent within your branch.
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback utilizing performance management tools.
- Assist customers in resolving concerns or escalating issues as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory or banking experience in a goal-oriented sales environment, including coaching and training.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in navigating various computer systems and applications to access information.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing demands while exercising independent judgment.
- Self-driven with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
- Knowledgeable in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to the banking industry.
This position operates in a professional office setting. The work environment is typically free from hazardous or unpleasant elements.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Regular tasks include speaking, hearing, standing or sitting for extended periods, and manual dexterity. The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. A valid driver's license is required for travel associated with this position.
