F&B Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced F&B Shift Manager to join our team at Route 66 Casino Hotel. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless service, inspiring your team, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities- Enforce performance standards, policies, and procedures to ensure exceptional guest service.
- Maximize cost effectiveness by ensuring staff compliance with guest service standards.
- Responsible for the job performance of all associates and provides feedback to aid in skill development.
- Responsible for evaluating and training associates to ensure compliance with guest service standards.
- Ensure venue operations are run smoothly and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Responsible for checking in orders and using proper rotation methods when stocking.
- Responsible for listening to, evaluating, and assuring control of guest grievances.
- Communicate with the manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
- Establish priorities for all crew members and provides assistance as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.
- Participate in the execution of new menu implementations, daily specials, and promotions.
- Responsible for maintaining all kitchen equipment and the appearance of the venue in accordance with company standards.
- Communicates regularly with the Manager about Department issues.
- Responsible for maintaining open communication throughout the venue, through daily pre-shift meetings.
- Knowledge of company internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
- Have Fun and ensure all staff members do as well.
- Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate one-on-one, in small groups, to moderate-sized gatherings of associates and/or executives.
- Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation, and open communication.
- Attend Supervisor Development Leadership Program annually.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate responses.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Build relationships and loyalty with guests through sincere and meaningful interactions.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of services, room locations, amenities, surroundings, providing accurate directions and information for guest inquiries about promotions and special events.
- Work under pressure; maintain regular and punctual attendance, including working odd or unusual hours, weekends, and holidays.
