Job Overview

East Cambridge Savings Bank's Human Resources Division is actively recruiting for a Payroll & Benefits Administration Specialist to join our team in Cambridge, MA.

About the Role

This role is responsible for performing a variety of duties pertaining to the payroll and benefits functions. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in payroll or accounting, with a working knowledge of ADP payroll system preferred.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Proofing weekly payroll entries for accuracy and processing payroll as needed
  • Monitoring payroll and compensation compliance, including quarterly time and attendance audits
  • Researching and resolving payroll issues within authorized limits
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong organizational and proofing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel applications
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented and accurate with excellent communication skills
