The Property Maintenance Assistant role at Femco, Inc. is a vital position that contributes to the upkeep of our residential property.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining the common areas of the property, including hallways, grounds, parking garage, pool area, and trash compactors/dumpsters.

  • Routine maintenance tasks such as carpet cleaning, light bulb replacement, and trash collection are performed regularly.
  • Minor landscaping, leaf blowing, and power washing are also part of the duties.
  • Ensuring trash and recycling areas are clean and organized is a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Clean the community pool, pool area, grills, and other outdoor spaces.
  • Address minor repair requests and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Monitor the property for safety hazards and report any issues to the Lead Maintenance.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Previous experience in property maintenance, grounds keeping, or a related field.
  • The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
  • Pass a drug screening and background check.

We offer a competitive salary of $16.00 per hour, which reflects the level of expertise and physical demands required for this role.
